Patricia Glass (born 14 February 1957) is a former Labour Party politician who was the MP of Parliament for North West Durham from 2010-2017. The Shadow Education Secretary was named on the 27th of June 2016 by Jeremy Corbyn but she resigned a few days later when she announced that she would resign following the next United Kingdom general election.

in 2014, Glass has accused the rivals of the Parliament for “orchestrated barracking” of women with regional accents, stating “I get the impression they think women who are northerners should not be there.”

Glass took a prominent role in Labour’s campaign to remain in the EU in the June 2016 referendum campaign.
