After looking at 80 parcels of land, the Musical Arts Association purchases 776 acres in Northampton Township to create a summer home for the Cleveland Orchestra.
1967
Groundbreaking takes place for Blossom Music Center on July 2.
The name honors the Dudley S. Blossom family, major supporters of the Cleveland Orchestra throughout its history.
